Here’s a glimpse of the feature documentary LA SALSA VIVE, which I’ve had the honor to produce. This powerful film, directed by the talented Juan Carvajal, follows world-class salsa dancers Kevin and Yuleissy, whose incredible story began in one of the most dangerous barrios in Cali, Colombia.
Through salsa, they’ve found a way to rise above the violence and poverty that has deeply affected so many families in their community. Dancing has become a beacon of hope for young people, and I’m beyond proud to help tell their story. 🖤🎥🇨🇴

Posted @withregram • @jarljuan.designs Designing the poster for The Pet Gala Documentary was a fantastic experience and a unique chance to make the film’s first impression count. The key challenge was weaving together dogs, flowers, and the main character into a design that felt both harmonious and uncluttered.
Over the month-long process, my goal was to capture the documentary’s essence. I’m really pleased with how the poster turned out—it balances all the elements beautifully and reflects the spirit of the film.
I’m proud of the result and grateful for all the positive feedback it’s received.
A big thank you to @kevinlopezfilms and @anthonyrubio01 for giving me the chance to be part of this project!

The “Nature’s Might” program at the Greenpoint Film Festival 2024 presents a series of documentaries that delve into the dynamic interplay between humans and the environment. “Isle Wild” portrays the fight to preserve one of NYC’s last natural refuges, while “Artemis” offers a unique perspective by letting the wildlife of Amsterdam narrate their survival in an urban landscape, challenging our perceived dominance over nature. “Greetings from Summerland” explores the historical and environmental consequences of early offshore oil drilling in California. “Between Earth & Sky” blends personal recovery with ecological resilience, as an ecologist applies her research to her own life after a life-altering accident. “The Walking Forest” shows the magical transformation of a city through a temporary, yet impactful, urban forest project, and “Threads of Nature” connects art with environmental advocacy through the medium of fiber art. Collectively, these films highlight our deep connection to and impact on the natural world, urging a reflection on environmental stewardship and resilience.
